Rail Motorized Transfer Cart for Steel Pipe Transportation

This rail motorized transfer cart is customized for customers, with a load capacity of 20 tons. It is designed to transport steel pipes both outdoors and indoors. To ensure the safety of the steel pipes during transportation, we have designed six brackets on the workbench of the trolley to secure and stabilize them.

A special feature of this cart is its ability to turn. The track system, consisting of both curved and straight rails, is pre-laid by the customer. Our rail motorized transfer cart is required to navigate these turns smoothly.

As seen in the picture, we use LD wheels with a diameter of 350mm. LD wheels are specially designed for the mechanical movement of large cranes. They are made from 45# and 55# steel materials and undergo surface treatments such as heat treatment and quenching to ensure high quality and durability. The wheels of the battery-operated rail transfer cart are critical components, bearing the weight of both the cart body and the cargo.

Due to the turning requirements, we could not design the rail transfer cart with conventional configurations. Instead, we optimized and upgraded the design. In addition to the basic configuration, we equipped the cart with two motors, ensuring sufficient driving power when making turns.

When carrying 20 tons of materials, the rail motorized transfer cart operates stably and continuously.
